South Auckland, New Zealand Church in Progress is where you can experience inclusive worship in South Auckland, New Zealand. We hope that our worship will inspire action in our community and our actions will inspire our worship.
What makes us different? We are welcoming and affirming of people who identify as GLBTQI, we try not to do things out of habit and try to think outside the box, we are constantly finding ways to connect our Christian faith with our
everyday lives, we love noisy kids and welcome people no matter what their belief system is. We are building up to monthly all-age worship gatherings and currently hold pop-up discussion and prayer doodling sessions in local places like KFC. Worship Leader Emily Worman will be ordained 26 September 2015. This celebration will be the official beginning of Emily becoming a pastor.

The Christian community “Agape” – Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) of Florence, which has jurisdiction over the whole of Tuscany, was established in November 2014. It is the first experience of this kind in Italy, thanks to the will and the ardor of a Christian group of faithful who have found a welcoming home. Challenges in Italy include religious oppression, expanding poverty and the constriction of civil and human rights. “Agape” CCM/MCC is involved in ministry
with transgender and homosexual people in prison (with related problems of prison access due to the restrictive Italian legislation), support to civil and human rights
campaigns, connection with animals and environmental activist associations. Activities against poverty against poverty have also been scheduled.

MCC is now forming in Finland! In English, the name of this new work is ~Living Water MCC Helsinki. The emergence of MCC in Helsinki is because the people are thirsty and need to drink. “If anyone is thirsty, come to Me and drink. The
one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” (John 7:37-38) Ministry Leader Tarja Pyykkö, has many years of ministry experience and is in the process of becoming MCC clergy.
Tarja describes these first months of formation: “We are just starting our voyage. We’ll take the first step and trust that we’ll find out what is the next one after that.”

Somos Iglesia De La Comunidad Metropolitana en Cuba Nos hemos estado reuniendo, desde hace cinco años, con el nombre de Somos y como un grupo de personas LGTBI, aliados y aliadas. De esta experiencia surge el proyecto Abriendo Brechas de Colores, que ha estado trabajando, desde hace dos años, junto a otras instituciones, el tema de la diversidad sexual y la identidad de género, a nivel social y religiosos en el país. Como iglesia emergente hemos decidido llevar este proyecto a una de nuestras pastorales. Queremos ser una comunidad transformadora que exige, proclama y hace a justicia en el mundo. Desarrollar estrategias de acciones que logren el respeto, la igualdad, el amor y la dignidad del ser humano y en especial la de las personas más vulnerables. Consideramos que la diversidad en cuanto a género, razas, credos, religión, cultura, orientación sexual e identidad de género y la libertad de expresarla es un don divino y un derecho humano fundamental.
