Includes timed run & family walk events. Beware of the dark on this Halloweenthemed night run. Participants will encounter spooky scenes as they make their way through the route. Volkssporting started in Germany and simply defined, is a personal fitness sports and recreation program offering noncompetitive walks, hikes, bike rides, swims, and in some regions crosscountry skiing. Walking – also called “volksmarching” – is the most popular of all the volkssporting activities. McAllen Routes: - Bentsen State Park, 2800 S Bentsen Palm Dr. in Mission/Entry Fee $5 per person - Quinta Mazatlan, 600 Sunset Dr. in McAllen/Entry Fee $3 Adults - $2 Seniors Ask front desk for “Walk Box” which includes the map route and directions to complete the 10k or 5k route.
