CLASS DESCRIPTIONS ALL-STAR SPORTS - Learn fundamental skills set needed to succeed and grow in a variety of sports. BALLET - Perfect for the beginner ballerina. Learn to twirl & pirouette. BASKETBALL SKILLS AND DRILLS - Designed to teach you the basics of basketball (dribbling, passing, shooting, and footwork). BEGINNER BILLIARDS - Learn how to play the game of pool including techniques and rules. CHEERLEADING SQUAD - Learn cheers, jumps, splits, stunts & dances.
DRAWING - Lessons include line drawing, shading, perspective, technique & space. FOLKLORICO - Introduction to traditional Mexican dance. FOLKLORICO (PERFORMANCE GROUP) - Program supervisor approval needed for advanced folklorico dance class. Requires experience, commitment, and multiple costume purchases/rental. LPCC registration only. $50 Fee HANDS ON ART - Create art with your hands. Includes drawing, painting, arts & crafts. HIP HOP KIDS - Pop, lock & rock it to today’s hip hop hits. HIP HOP CRAZE - Learn footwork, coordination & rhythm. JAZZ - Strut and dance to music from across the decades. JAZZ-MA-TAZZ - Fun-filled intro to jazz is perfect for young children, introduces flexibility & technique. KICKLINE - Learn a combination of dance styles including pom, prop, lyrical, jazz, high-kick and hip-hop. KIDS DRAMA - Acting skills for beginners & intermediate. KITCHEN KIDS - Learn to create easy afterschool snacks. MAT-CERCISE - Learn basic tumbling skills from forward rolls, tiny toe touches and proper stretching techniques. MINI-MASTERPIECES - Work with a variety of materials from paint to beads and create your art by hand. MODELING - Learn the basics of poise, etiquette with affordable and fashionable outfits. MUSIC MANIA - Beginner music class with introduction to notes, instruments, and voice.
