Waterside Safety System
A Complete Package Cosalt’s Waterside Safety System has been designed to help save people who are stranded in the water close to a harbour wall or river bank. The system comprises three elements that together form a complete safety package.

1. Safety grab chains G Special galvanised chains are draped at intervals from eyebolts securely fastened to a river bank or harbour wall. G Three rows of chains are normally placed on top of each other at different heights, according to the tidal range and the nature of the muddy river bottom. 2. Fixed escape ladders G Steel escape ladders are bolted to the wall at regular intervals to allow the victim to get ashore easily. G The ladders extend above the height of the river or harbour wall and below the minimum water depth. 3. Rescue aids onshore G Rescue aids are installed near the water's edge so that people ashore can offer immediate assistance to the victim in the water. This equipment includes: G Cosalt Perrybuoy. G Lifebuoy Housing with mounting kit and security seal. G Rescue line.
The lifebuoy is stored in its own freestanding or rail mounted housing.
