"The day started out beautifully but a huge thunderstorm developed
in the afternoon. It started raining as soon as I arrived at Blue Hill and all the way through our proposed portrait schedules. The rain poured and poured, allowing us just a few photos outside with tiny little parasols. Through it all, Carol and Hua had smiles on their faces and a gleeful, positive outlook. They moved their beautiful ceremony set up indoors, giving up hope of an outdoor ceremony. It was obvious they understood the real purpose behind their wedding: to be married in front of friends and family and surrounded by love, instead of worrying about anything outside of their control. As if the universe could sense their calm, the skies opened up and the evening sun started shining through, just in time for their cocktail hour outdoors.
