History of Industrialization in Construction | HIC Inhalt der Lehrveranstaltung ist die systematische Darstellung historischer Prototypen fertigungsgerechter Planung und Ausführung in den jeweiligen geschichtlichen Epochen von der Antike über die 70er Jahre bis in die Gegenwart. Neue konstruktive Möglichkeiten erlauben bis dahin nicht umsetzbare Formen und eine weiter fortschreitende Industrialisierung des Bauens. Die Lehrveranstaltung ist Teil des Moduls “Industrialisierungsstrategien in Architektur und Bauwesen (MOI)”, das zusammen mit dem Lehrstuhl Baurealisierung und Baurobotik, Prof. Thomas Bock, angeboten wird. History of Industrialization in Construction | HIC The course focused on the systematic presentation of historical prototypes of prefabricated planning and construction across the ages – from antiquity via the 1970s to the present day. New means of construction have made it possible to construct forms that were previously impossible and have pushed forward the industrialization of construction. The course is part of the “Industrialization Strategies in Architecture and Construction (MOI)” module taught in conjunction with the Chair of Building Construction and Robotics (Prof. Thomas Bock).

Material und Architektur - Alterung In Kooperation der Lehrstühle für Entwerfen, Baukonstruktion und Baustoffkunde (EBB), Univ. Prof. Florian Musso und für Theorie und Geschichte der Architektur, Univ. Prof. Dr. Dietrich Erben wurde das Phänomen „Alterung“ praxisbezogen aus der Perspektive des planenden Architekten als auch theoretisch aus der Sicht des Historikers behandelt. Welche Arten von Alterung gibt es? Wie treten diese in Erscheinung? Welche Gegenmaßnahmen sind möglich? Lässt sich Alterung von Bauwerken planen? Diese und weitere Fragestellungen wurden bei Ortsterminen, in Vorträgen und Diskussionen thematisiert. Materials and Architecture – Aging As a cooperation between the Chair for Building Construction and Material Science (EBB, Prof. Florian Musso), and the Chair for the Theory and History of Architecture (Prof. Dietrich Erben), the phenomenon of aging was examined both from the practical perspective of the architect as well as from the theoretical viewpoint of the historian. What kinds of aging are there? How do we perceive them? In what ways can aging be counteracted? Can the aging of buildings be controlled? These and other aspects of the aging of architecture were examined in field trips, lectures and discussions.
