Situationen Fürstenfeldbruck Mit der Stadt Fürstenfeldbruck besteht eine Kooperation im Rahmen integrierter Lehr- und Forschungsprojekte mit Studierenden. Innerhalb eines Entwurfsstudios wurden städtebauliche Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten um die S-Bahnhöfe, in der Innenstadt und tangential gen Norden über die Konversionsfläche des Fliegerhorstes, des südwestlichen Stadtrandes oder des Amper- Erlebnisraumes betrachtet, bis hin zu konkreten Aufgaben wie einem Amper-Flussbad für einen Kurzentwurf. Die Arbeiten wurden in Workshops vor Ort erarbeitet und mit Gemeinderäten und interessierten Bürgern diskutiert. Für den Abzug der Bunderwehr aus Fürstenfeldbruck wird der Lehrstuhl dieses öffentliche studentische „Stadtlabor“ fortsetzen und darüber hinaus für die rege Stadtplanung der Gemeinde wissenschaftliche Begleitung sein. Situations Fürstenfeldbruck A collaboration with the city of Furstenfeldbruck through integrated teaching and research projects was developed with students. Within a design studio, possibilities for urban development around the S-Bahn stations in the city centre and on a tangent north, the conversion of the air base, or the south-western outskirts of the city, or the area around the Amper, as well as a concrete task such as a river swimming baths in the Amper, were considered as short design projects. The designs were developed in workshops and discussions with local councils and interested residents on site. For the withdrawal of the German military from Furstenfeldbruck the Chair will continue this public student “City Lab” and moreover act as scientific support for the active urban planning of the municipality. In addition to teaching fundamentals of urban planning and design, in the Bachelor of Architecture we put the primary focus on an understanding of (peri-) urban phenomena of “Dazwischens“ of “town” and “country”. Between urban density and the ‘disappearance of city’, decanting of rapidly shrinking regions but increasing urban sprawl, the studios discuss the basics of urban planning and design in a variety of areas and how particular contexts lend themselves to particular design approaches. Integriertes Entwurfsstudio Sendling +X Aufgabe des Entwurfs war die städtebauliche Konversion der ausgedienten Gleisharfe in München Sendling, westlich des Großmarktgeländes, im Sinne einer baulich-räumlichen und programmatischen Neukonzeption und Verdichtung. Entwerferische Ideen und Thesen bezüglich einer städtebaulichen Struktur, möglichen zukünftigen Nutzungen und einer neuen Gestalt des Ortes und seine Integration in den Kontext wurden entwickelt. Integrated Design Studio Sendling + X The task of the design was the urban conversion of the disused railway siding in Munich Sendling, west of the central market area, in terms of structural, spatial, and programmatic redesign and densification. Passion for designing ideas and theories regarding urban structure, possible future uses and a new form for the site and its integration into the context were developed.
