THE MAN AND HIS DISCOVERY Vibram’s story begins about 70 years ago when its founder, Vitale Bramani, had an idea. He was an enthusiastic mountain climber who once witnessed the death of several friends in an accident. He decided to develop a rubber sole that would prevent climbers from slipping on ice.
