MAAC Student Athlete Advisory Committee The MAAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) was established by the conference to give student-athletes an opportunity to generate a voice within the conference, to solicit student-athlete responses to proposed NCAA legislation, and to discuss issues relating to the welfare of student-athletes. MAAC SAAC meets in person twice throughout the academic year. Two SAAC representatives from each MAAC school participate in the meetings where student-athletes discuss current topics and issues on their campuses. Recently, meetings have focused on community-service initiatives, increasing awareness on campus of SAAC and elevating student-athlete support for the overall athletic department.
