The yearbook was named “Best in the Nation” in 1993 and in 1994 by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. The publication ranked second in 1996, 1998, 2004 and 2008; third in 2003, 2010 and 2011; fourth in 1995, 1997 and 2009; fifth in 2001 and sixth in 1999. The covers of the 2003, 2009 and 2011 guides were also named “Best in the Nation” by CoSIDA.
