LSU’s TV exposure continues to expand each year thanks to the television contracts with the SEC. Those exposures will continue to increase starting in 2010 thanks to new 15-year contracts the league has signed with CBS Sports and ESPN. LSU players meet with the media after the game.

Milestone Television Contracts With the start of 15-year agreements with ESPN and CBS Sports, SEC basketball will have unprecedented television access regionally and nationally. • Each of the 96 conference games will be televised live as part of the SEC’s historic agreements with CBS Sports and ESPN.
• The SEC games on the ESPN family of networks will be exclusively branded as the “SEC on ESPN.”
• Almost half ot he SEC’s league games will be distributed nationally with ESPN or ESPN2 television 27 contests, ESPNU showing eight and CBS Sports five.
• Regionally-syndicated games will be televised on the SEC Network as part of ESPN Regional Television (ERT).
• ESPN and ESPN2 will offer 27 conference matchups.

• The SEC Network will televise 37 intra-conference games while Fox Sports Net will show 10 contests and CSS nine.

• The majority of games not televised nationally will be available as a part of ESPN Full Court, the pay subscription college basketball out-of-market service, and on ESPN360.com. • ESPN Regional Television (ERT) will produce and distribute a studio show each Saturday afternoon during conference play and at the SEC Tournament.
• National coverage of the SEC Basketball Tournament has been expanded with the semifinals and championship game broadcast on ESPN on ABC. The SEC Network will televise the first two rounds of the tournament which this year will be played March 10-13 in Atlanta. • ESPNU will also be televising games on Thursday night.
• SEC games will be televised nationally now on Tuesday (ESPN Super Tuesday), Thursday and Saturday and Sunday.
