Regular assessment is the key to staying on top of your plant’s needs. Assessing is a multiple-step process involving identification, location, quantifying physical characteristics, and determining health needs. This ongoing process is beneficial to any property–large or small, public or private, homeowner or professional. You’ll also see first hand how Longwood keeps track of the thousands of trees and shrubs throughout the Gardens, as you head outdoors and conduct a mock assessment.
