In age-based groups of no more than 15, your child will receive individual attention as well as the chance to interact with musicians and other children. Led by Gamelan expert Andy Channing, all parts are different and range from simple to more difficult, so anyone can have a go. As well as weekly workshops, performance opportunities are offered throughout the year. Participants will watch a morning rehearsal with the London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus at the Barbican, followed by a workshop in the afternoon at LSO St Luke’s. Whether you sing in a local choir or haven’t sung since school, this is an exciting opportunity to get to grips with a classic work. Some sight-singing ability is required. Whether you are interested in rock, hip-hop or classical music, DTG can provide you with the skills to record and produce your music using professional studio equipment. Through regular hands-on sessions with industry experts and collaboration with other young musicians, you will have the opportunity to develop your music and creative performance skills.
