Led by experienced choral directors, the day starts with singing workshops followed by an informal performance. Some sight-singing ability is required. Join LSO Choral Director Simon Halsey on 4 January when he’ll lead a workshop on selected arias and choruses from Haydn’s Creation. The Novello edition of the score, with English libretto, will be used and both the workshop and the performance will be accompanied by piano. Led by Andy Channing, all parts are different and range from simple to more difficult, so anyone can have a go. Performance opportunities are offered throughout the year, as well as weekly workshops.
