Set back from the bustling street, the historic building’s imposing white walls conceal one of London’s finest event spaces. Over the last six years, LSO St Luke’s and Moving Venue have delivered many successful events. This trust and experience has led the two organisations to craft a refreshing partnership for Christmas 2014. On arrival, guests will walk through an avenue of elegant London plane trees into a magnificent entrance beneath the beautifully lit spire. The foyer and striking original staircase within will be filled with an impressive sculptural lighting installation. The stunning architecture of the Jerwood Hall will be enhanced with sensitive lighting and enchanting lanterns suspended across the space. Relaxing music will filter around the room and, most importantly, guests will be greeted by friendly waiting staff offering a perfectly chilled drink to start the night. As the reception draws to a close, it’s time to dine – either a relaxed offering of a tempting selection of Moving Venue’s signature canapés and bowl food or a more formal seated dinner with beautiful linens and impressively lit table centres. Once guests have finished eating it’s time to party! Through clever changes to the lighting, the lanterns will be transformed and the mood will change again as the DJ picks up the tempo.
