BRIEFLY Sophie Allen is in her third season with LMU swimming... AT LMU 2011-12... swam a season best 24.35 in the 50 yard freestyle at the 2011 CA OB Arena Invitational... swam a season best 55.05 in the 100 yard freestyle... swam a season best 56.83 in the 100 yard backstroke at the 2011 Texas Invitational... swam a season best 2:07.42 in the 200 yard backstroke at the 2012 CA OBS MPSF Swimming and Diving meet...MPSF All-Academic 2010-11... as a sophomore transfer from University of Maryland, made an instant impact in backstroke events for the Lions earning first team All-MPSF honors in the 100 backstroke with a second-place finish at the MPSF Championships in a personal-best time of 56.02, second-fastest in LMU history... set an LMU program record in the 200 backstroke with a 2:03.02, placing fifth in the conference final... also made it back to the finals in the 50 freestyle, placing 23rd with a 24.08, eighth-fastest in LMU history... a Click here for full bio
