S
ure, there's online shopping available, but during Christmas time, nothing can replace
the experience you receive when shopping in person. Whether it's the pleasant sounds of the familiar Christmas caroles you hear, the sparkling light displays or the special menu items you can find in neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops, it's the time of year we all look forward to. Dallas-Fort Worth has many shopping places to choose from when marking your lists and checking them twice; starting from the southern point of the Dallas North Tollway all the way north to our home of Frisco! Highland Park Village is an experience just about every Dallas-Fort Worth resident should include on their to-do Christmas experience list. An affluent North Texas city nestled between The Dallas North Tollway and Highway 75, the residents decorate their extravagant homes each year that offer some of the best Christmas light displays in Texas. If you don't want to drive through the area, there are horse carriage rides available for a small fee. As for shopping, Highland Park Village offers a number of high quality apparel stores including highend brands found no where else in DFW. Here you'll surely find something special for each person on your list. Highland Park Village has a large history dating back to 1931, when it first opened as America's first shopping center! This Mediterranean-style center offers something for everyone. Certainly a holiday treat for the entire family to remember for generations. Frisco is one of the largest growing cities in North Texas, so it makes sense that the amount of shopping choices coincide with our growth. Stonebriar Mall is always bustling with residents, near and far, purchasing their family and friends gifts. Nordstrom Stonebriar is a great place to take in the whole Christmas shopping experience. Having just recently remodeled, Nordstrom Stonebriar has added new departments on both floors. On the first floor you are welcomed with a service center that is available to make your shopping experience more personal and efficient. Immediately entering you will find drop-off areas to easily return store items, convenient pop-up dressing rooms that allow you to try on clothing and reserve them online with our mobile app, as well as style experts available onsite to help you choose the best options for you involving fashion, beauty, weddings and more. There are new beauty brands to choose from, including Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, Sisley Paris and Charlotte Tilbury. Heading upstairs, you will find a new department Via C, that will feature emerging designer labels. Top Shop is a young women's popular clothing line exclusive to Nordstrom. CONTINUED >
