Summary The article reviews the interaction of language development and learning process of culture and links between them in holistic approach based on M. Montessori knowledge. Language is the result of mankind’s development, the formation of generations, which develops during functioning.A particular society and people use it as a mean of universal communication, cognition and expression of ideas.Due to language it is possible to provide the succession of culture, the maintenance of knowledge acquired by society and to transfer them to future generations.Italian educator M. Montessori also figured language as a key element of human social life. Languageis a bearer of mankind’sculture. Today’schild will bethe creatorof culture in a future, as well as the successor of experience of previousgenerations and the child willprovide it for futuregenerations. The knowledge expressed by M. Montessori are still not out of date. From aspectsof pedagogy, psychology andlogopedy her educational system contributes the development of child’s personality as a creator of culture of future both –holistically and in the context of language development. The article is based on knowledge of I.Lieģeniece, I.Miltiņa, I.Nazarova, H.Holtstiege, M. Montessori, P.Oswald and others.
