Programme of 'The Dutch Assembly', taking place during ARCOmadrid, Spain, 15–19 February 2012. With the collaboration of the Mondriaan Fund and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Spain, ARCOmadrid will host a representation of Dutch art organizations curated by Latitudes. Hosted within a specially-commissioned structure by Dutch artist Jasper Niens and designer Thijs Ewalts, 'The Dutch Assembly' will consist of the accumulation of 30 hourly talks, readings, artists presentations, performances, book launches, in conversations and screenings throughout the five days of the fair. Contributions representing art spaces, research initiatives and individuals will form a series of 'depositions' and dispatches analysing cultural practice and policy from the Dutch perspective, as well as reflections of the artistic links between Spain and the Netherlands.
