The University of Arizona recently announced the hire of Rich Rodriguez as head coach of the football program. Within days of his appointment, Rodriguez attended a fundraising dinner hosted by the UA Hispanic Alumni Association (UAHA). While greeting guests at the event, he pulled out a UA helmet and signed and dated it. The coveted helmet was then auctioned off and bids poured in.
