erfectly situated on the southern shores of Round Lake, these adjoining condos, complete with matching boathouses, are within walking distance of Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix — and the amazing beaches and easy boating that all three lakes have to offer. The two condos, which were built in the 1970s, share a common wall, an elevator, indoor covered slips, and 70 feet of Round Lake frontage. “The homes are built out over the water, and the boat slips are indoors under the home, which make them very unique,” says Larry Hilldore, who, along with wife Cheryl, owns the homes. “To have all of this and be able to walk downtown and have room for plenty of guests makes the homes incredible.” Indeed they are. Condo A, which clocks in at 3,200 square feet, has undergone extensive remodeling, including an updated master bath with dual showerheads, granite countertops and heated flooring; a heated, four-car garage; and an office turned custom bunk room. Two sets of sliding glass doors open up to a large, covered deck, perfect for taking in the incredible views. “There’s

also an enclosed summer kitchen with an under-counter refrigerator/freezer, wine cooler and bar sink,” says Cheryl. Condo A features two kitchens — a primary kitchen and a catering kitchen — and three bedrooms with en suite baths. Condo B has 2,900 square feet in which to spread out. It includes an updated kitchen, deck for enjoying the views, master bedroom suite complete with an office, and two additional bedrooms with en suite baths. “Both homes are very open — they have great areas for large groups but are still very warm and inviting,” Larry says. And both homes are being sold furnished. Then there’s the covered boat slip area. “The boat slips have all been updated with new ceilings, lighting and windows, new automatic doors and underwater lighting,” says Larry. It features three slips: One for a boat 57 feet by 16 feet; one for a boat 45 feet by 16 feet; and one for a boat 40 feet by 11 feet. There’s also an outdoor dock that can accommodate a boat up to 60 feet in length. An overhead hoist for lifting a 30-foot boat also was installed. LB
