Starting now through October 24th, individuals from your department can make a private contribution at www.justfoodfund.org and credit it to your department in the "Comments" field. The department that donates the most by the end of the day next Thursday will be recognized at our spring leadership award program. Visit our website to find out how to earn credit for your department. Every dollar donated to Just Food buys up to 5 lbs of food that can be distributed by over 30 local agencies, including the Campus Food Pantry at ECM. Your donations make a major impact in the fight against hunger right here in Douglas County!

Friday, October 25 Lights Out! The 2013 Campus Sustainability Week culminates in a campus wide Lights Out! day where students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to turn off their lights and conserve energy. We hope that individuals all across campus will think more about the significant amounts of electricity we use every day to power the campus. Turning off the lights one day will not only conserve a lot of energy, but it will also promote conservation behaviors and considerations year-round. For more information about campus sustainability week events, please visit us on Facebook or email us at sustainability@ku.edu. We look forward to seeing you at all of the events!
