Academic Support
Academic Support Services Completed in May 2009, the $5 million, 15,600-square foot Academic Support Services facility boasts a 36-computer technology lab, informal group study areas, 24 individual tutor rooms, 19 private offices for staff and beautiful views of campus to the north through a glass curtain wall. KU’s Strategic and Instructional Tutoring Program (STP) has 75 tutors who work with student-athletes. Tutoring is available to any student-athlete, regardless of scholarship status or sport.
Each year Kansas Athletics holds a senior scholar banquet in which senior student-athletes are invited to a dinner and awards ceremony to honor the accomplishments of their four years with the Jayhawks.
