The AR9R1 is IFAM’s answer to the Anemonian Armed Forces demanding requirements for an effective 21st century combat rifle, capable of meeting and surpassing the requirements and expectations of one of the world’s premier armed forces. Currently in service alongside the AR8R5 as the Imperial Armed Forces’ preferred combat and service rifle, it is a tried and tested weapon proven to be highly battlefield capable and effective: -constantly dependable through a series of rigorous design and construction quality enforcement schemes, -highly accurate through innovative, inspired design and quality of manufacture to reinforce this in practice, -incredibly powerful through the 6.7x47mm ASA round, designed with the battlefield in mind, and -flexible above all, capable of adopting one of five different roles on the battlefield with a simple switch of the barrel and handguard. The AR9R1 currently serves with distinction as the service rifle of Anemos Major, Coltarin, Southern Cynocephali, Matmalia, Belfras and Immoren.

> performance superiority The AR9R1 is built with one objective; to dominate the battlefield with performance superiority across a full spectrum of potential small arms applications. Utilising the 6.7mm ASA round, an intermediate which retains the power of the 7.7 ASA round together with the portability and controllability of the 5.56mm, the AR9R1 utilises a bullpup layout to minimise obstruction and maximise accuracy. Its construction supports modularity to every extent, with quick detachable handguards and barrel assemblies allowing for quick conversion between roles while rail systems accommodate a wide variety of potential attachments. Recoil control is managed through a combination of effective weight balancing, a buffer stock and effectively ported muzzle attachments. The barrel is constructed of cold hammer-forged steel, and is internally chromed. This barrel incorporates a 1 in 10 twist due to its slightly larger round, and a heavy variant exists for use as an automatic rifle. The frame of the weapon itself is glass reinforced polymer, with a 3:7 ratio of the former to the latter providing a perfect balance of weight and endurance. Effective construction and internal spacing allow the weapon to resist adverse environments, making it difficult for external elements to enter the weapon and easy to force out.

> long term excellence Like all Anemonian weapons, the AR9R1 is expected to function effectively in any environment up to and beyond its service life, and as such, the quality of its construction is incredibly high. A series of materials, ranging from a fibreglass frame to a chromed barrel, increase the endurance of various parts across the weapon, thus increasing its battlefield life and decreasing maintenance costs significantly. In fact, the very nature of the AR9R1 makes it a cost effective option; the modularity of the AR9R1, and its effectiveness in each and every single one of its roles, means that a single weapon can perform countless roles during its field tenure. This, together with the wide range of external options available for the AR9, make the weapon a uniquely rewarding investment.
