Welcome to Summertime! MUSIC, SCIENCE, ART + EARLY LITERACY
Kingsley’s Storytime Exploration empowers children to act with creativity and compassion. Founded on the Montessori philosophies of peace education and curiosity, students participate in fun, hands-on projects that combine music, art and science. In each two-week session, our young friends explore the world around them while reinforcing the importance of collaboration and kindness.

Storytime Exploration Sessions 1-3 AGES 3 THROUGH 5
SESSION 1 (JUNE 27- JULY 8): COLOR AND SHAPE
Students will ignite their inquisitive minds as they immerse themselves in a world of art, color and shape. This program’s art, music and geometry exploration is inspired by innovative children’s book author, Hervé Tullet, and the biographies of famous artists. SESSION 2 (JULY 11 - JULY 22): SOUND AND MOVEMENT
Children will swim in a sound-world of music, rhyme, and movement while learning about the work of famous musicians, such as Duke Ellington. Musical storybooks inspire song, dance, and art lessons as well as science experiments about sound and vibration. SESSION 3 (JULY 25 - AUGUST 5): FRIENDS AROUND THE WORLD
Our young friends will journey through classic storybooks, such as At the Same Moment Around the World, How the Sun Got to Coco’s House and The World in a Second. Students will learn about the cultures of our world, practice yoga through our Storytime Yoga class and sing songs about people from all over the globe.
Muscial Child AGES 4 THROUGH 6
Students will love this five-day immersion into song, rhythm, dance and movement. A program that beautifully combines foundations of Montessori education and inspirational music education, our young friends will learn new music skills while strengthening new friendships.
