aving a well balanced diet is not only necessary to keep your body running smoothly but it is also essential for good sexual health and function! There are many reasons associated with sexual dysfunction, but often one of the primary reasons is the balance of our sex hormones, which are linked to our metabolic hormones, and which rely on a constant supply of certain nutrients available to us via our diet.

Important dietary minerals include iron, zinc, magnesium, calcium, iodine, selenium, chromium, arginine, co-enzyme Q10 and essential fatty acids (EFAs). Some examples of food sources rich on these minerals are: Chicken and red meats which are rich in iron, a •mineral necessary for arousal, erection and lubrication. rice, eggs and cheese all contain •zinc,Nuts,frombrown which the sperm’s tail is formed, helping with fertility and sexual performance.

Vitamin C helps boost sex drive strengthen male and female sex organs and can be found in food such as potatoes, ginger, beetroot (beet), citrus fruit, and sprout beans.

Vitamin E is essential for healthy skin and its protective nature makes it vital for sexual health and vitality. It can be found in avocado, spinach, wheatgerm, and all leafy green vegetables. The idea is to always maintain a well-balanced diet, eat the right portions of healthy nutritious food throughout the day, and always remember that sex on a full stomach is not a good idea. █
