WELCOME Ellen Whitney to Recreational Services Ellen Whitney joined our staff as the Coordinator of the Indian Creek Recreation Area last December. Ellen will manage all Ellen Whitney aspects of the 16-acre off-campus property, including the new Indian Creek Lodge. Ellen received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas (at Austin), and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Georgia Southern University. For the past year Ellen had served as the Coordinator and Interim Assistant Director of Facilities and Events at the University of West Georgia, University Recreation Department. Prior, she was the Program Coordinator of Facility Operations and Special Events at Arizona State University, Sun Devil Fitness Center. She is well versed in all aspects of event management and will serve the Department of Recreational Services well in marketing and promoting the Indian Creek Recreation Area to the Georgia State Community. Ellen is active in our State, Regional and National association. We are pleased to have Ellen join our team at this most important time in the history of the department, Division, and the University.
