At first You should draw template on patterned paper sheet. You can use my free template made especially for You! Please check my blog drycha.blogspot.com/2012/06/white-rabbit.html to download free pdf template.
Cut out the template and bend by the lines.
Prepare embellishments and inside background. I used gesso, Glimmer Mist Coffee Shop to add some vintage look.
I used some gesso for decorate roses' petals.
That's good time to tearing, distressing, inking, misting etc. ;)
Don't forget to see how it looks completely.
Connect inside background with the main base. I use mini stapler but You can use also adhesive tape, glue etc.
Fold and glue main base with background inside.
Now You can add some embellishments outside.
I want to finish my shadowbox with matching leaves. I use pieces of paper painted with gesso and with Glimmer Mist.
1. Punch some circles (for roof tiles) and some leaves. 2. distressing! :) 3. inking
Glue tiles and leaves for your work.
Now use pentagon with holes. Just add ribbon and glue that for base. Don't ink that piece of paper – sometimes ink may stain your wall.
Add some blings, 3d paint dots and...
Done!
