The Patricia Walker Shaw Scholarship is provided to help young women achieve their educational goals. This scholarship was established in honor of Patricia Walker Shaw (1939-1985). Mrs. Shaw was a trailblazer, who in her 17 years career at Universal Life Insurance Company climbed the corporate ladder. In 1983, she achieved the position of CEO and President of Universal Life, the fourth largest insurance company in the nation.
