Student Life • The diversity of Kansas State University students continues to increase. The number of multicultural students has nearly doubled from a little more than 10 years ago.

• The university offers more than 475 student clubs and organizations, including honor, academic and multicultural organizations. • The Princeton Review ranks Kansas State University No. 4 in the nation for quality of life, which includes residence hall comfort, and No. 8 for happiest students. • For the fifth time in the last seven years, Kansas State University's Black Student Union has been named the most outstanding black student government council in the Big 12 Conference. • Kansas State University is one of the safest campuses in the Big 12 Conference.

• Twenty percent of the university’s undergraduate population is involved in the university’s sororities and fraternities, which provide academic, philanthropic and leadership opportunities. • The Princeton Review ranks Kansas State University No. 2 in the U.S. for great campus and community relations. • College Database ranked K-State as Kansas' top school for return on investment, with graduates entering the workforce earning an estimated $44,100 a year on average.
