Physically gifted player with excellent work habits... A proven starter who has seen time at both center and guard on offense.

Big, tough defensive end who excels in stopping the run... Has continued to show development and will provide depth at the defensive end spot.

2009: Started all 12 games at guard and helped pave the way for Big 12 rushing leader Daniel Thomas.... Made his 17th-career start at left guard at Nebraska... Helped the Wildcat rushing attack gain 179.9 yards per game, the third-most in the Big 12.

2009: Saw some playing time in seven games this past season with one assisted tackle.... Also was very valuable on special teams.

2008: Started five straight games beginning with Lousiana, two at left guard and then three at center, before not playing at Kansas... In the five games he started the offense managed 2,114 yards, averaging 422 yards per game... The Wildcats ran for over 100 yards in four of the games in which he started. 2007: Did not see any game action as a member of the squad. 2006: Redshirted. HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead Harrisonville High School to three straight Class 3 state title game appearances, including state championships in both 2003 and 2005... Overall, Harrisonville posted a combined 39-3 record during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... Selected as the 2005 Missouri Class 3 Defensive Player of the Year by the Missouri Football Coaches Association... Also a Class 3A all-state first teamer as a senior by the Kansas City Star and the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association...
