Anna Nicoletti led Italy with a match‐high 20 points, including three blocks and four aces. She was followed by Cristina Chirichella and Laura Partenio with 13 and 11, respectively, while Alessia Gennari and Raphaela Folie each chipped in with 8 points. Gabriela Souza tallied nine for Brazil. Chirichella scored seven blocks in leading Italy to a 15‐11 advantage in the category. The winners held a 6‐2 margin in aces.
