And so, with my family’s blessing and Whitaker House’s permission, I took the time to honor God and my uncle by transcribing the sixtyseven sermons available on audio recordings and bring to you in this volume the message he received on God’s first priority, The Power of the Blood of Jesus. Every one of God’s highest priorities is related to God’s love and care for people. We all need to know that God is not looking for reasons to reject us but to save us—He is not interested in our failures but longs for our friendship. The message of the blood is that God’s wrath has been turned away and His heart is warm toward us now. When Gabriel appeared to Roland in 1979, Gabriel said, “There is more excitement in the courts of heaven than there has ever been since Jesus came the first time.” It has been a generation since this angelic visitation, and so I pass the baton to you. Let’s run our race with joy in our salvation and in fellowship with our Maker through the power of the blood of Jesus. Timothy Holt
