Named First-Team PressofAtlanticCity.com, Courier Post All-South Jersey First Team, First-Team All-Jersey Non-Public at defensive end and All-Cape Atlantic League at offensive line as a senior... Defensively had 10 sacks, 18 tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries... Was a decorated wrestler at St. Augustine High Prep... Honor Roll student all four years. Rushed 231 times for 1,590 yards (133 yards per game and 27 touchdowns his senior season) to earn Capital District Offensive Player of the Year while leading the team to an 11-1 record and its first Capital District Championship... Earned First-Team Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro, All-District All-Central Region, Virginia Preps Central Region as a running back his senior year... Added six receptions for 87 yards and one touchdown, while also averaging 24.5 yards per punt return with one touchdown his final season... As a junior was named Associated Press Second-Team Class AAA All-State, First-Team All-Region and First-Team All-District as a running back... High School: Was a 2009 Virginia Preps AAA All-State honoree, the 2009 All-Metro Quarterback and Offensive Player of the Year, 2009 Central Region Offensive Player of the Year and 2009 Central District Offensive Player of the Year by the Richmond Times-Dispatch... Played quarterback for Coach Troy Taylor at Meadowbrook High School... In prep career, passed for 4,639 yards and 46 touchdowns while rushing for 2,524 yards and 34 touchdowns as a senior, led his team to a 9-1 record... Passed for 1,324 yards and 11 touchdowns and also rushed for 1,094 yards and 15 touchdowns... 2008 Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro Team honoree...
