Lakeview Golf Club is one of the three home courses of the JMU golf programs, providing the team seven-daya-week, year-around playing and practice privileges. Lakeview Golf Club is home to four unique 9-hole courses, a full-service professional shop, a practice facility with range, putting and chipping greens, an outdoor pavilion for hosting tournaments and outings of 150 or more participants. Among Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play” and named “Best Golf Course of the Valley” for 2010, Lakeview offers memberships and welcomes public play, as well. Lakeview’s Golf Course Superintendent and staff earn rave reviews on the outstanding shape of the course, earning Lakeview the reputation as the best-maintained course in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
