It’s almost time for JMU Career and Academic Planning (CAP)/ Employer Relations and Recruiting Service’s (ERR) BIG MOVE! Starting in the fall of 2014, CAP will be located in the newest addition to campus: the Student Success Center (SSC). Located in Constitution Hall on the north side of campus (where the former Rockingham Memorial Hospital was), this center will be the new home for several learning, health and service organizations including CAP, Disability Services, Orientation, the Learning Centers, the Health Center, Judicial Affairs, and much more. The new ERR/interviewing center will be located on the 3rd floor of the building, and allow all CAP offices to be in close proximity to one another. The SSC will provide employers with close access to large amounts of student traffic, which will lend itself well to promoting your company’s positions and events. Also, for you coffee lovers, rumor has it there will be a Dunkin Donuts in the building! We in CAP are very excited about this move, and are looking forward to working with you in our brand new location! Keep an eye out for more information on our BIG MOVE as we draw closer to the fall recruiting season.
