LESLIE, JAMES (Jun ’61) 1426 Overlook Drive Mount Dora, FL 32757 301‐863‐2808 james.leslie@starpower.net Jim retired to Florida from Maryland in 2008 but was asked to return to teaching as a Visiting Professor at George Washington University two years ago. His contract expired in June and he said he is ready to travel. Leslie says that Jerry Raymond and Dan Sestak were his heroes – both football coaches. He said he wasn't a very good student in high school, but those coaches taught him perseverance and he now has his Doctorate in Education. His favorite teacher was Mr. Boxer who he said was an inspiration. He joined the Army as a Medical Specialist and spent a year plus in Viet Nam and returned to “The Army War College” in DC. He continued his education at Western Michigan University with a dual major in Sociology and Business. Larry retired in Nov 2009 after running the Ford Motor Company’s Worker’s Compensation program countrywide for ten years. Prior to those Ford years, he worked for CIGNA Corporation’s Property and Casualty Group in the position of HR Manager, Regional Claims VP and VP of Customer Service. Larry has 5 children: Edith, Eric, Jamal, Tieast, and Lawrence Jr. He is now enjoying his 7 grandchildren. Army LONGLEY (BLACKWELL), JUDY (Jun ’61) 5050 Rockdale Court, Sterling Heights, MI 48310 586‐795‐4360 586‐872‐7150 (Cell) TravelingJudy@comcast.net Judy retired in October 2008 from a 30‐year career as an Administrative Assistant at Ford Motor Company. She and deceased husband, Bill Blackwell, had five children: Kimberly (1963), Kelli (1966), Kristi (1968), Kevin (1969) and Keith (1971) and seven grandchildren. Judy stated that she has thoroughly enjoyed re‐connecting with classmates during the planning of the 2011 “50‐ish Reunion” and can’t begin to express how excited she is to see all of her former classmates from fifty years ago. LUDVIGH, JAY (Jun ’61) 1757 W Minnesota Ave, Deland, FL 32720‐2620 386‐734‐7129 eludvigh@stetson.edu Jay attended Tulane University and the University of Michigan, graduating with a BA in psychology. He entered a Ph.D. program at Michigan State in 1966 and completed his doctorate in 1971. Jay has taught at MSU, Stetson University from 1972 ‐1979 then opened a private practice in Clinical Psychology. He married Sue in 1975 and celebrated 35 great years with her this past November. He is still working full time in his psychology practice, is an adjunct professor at Stetson University and also serves as the forensic psychological examiner. Jay is still a "motor head" and has a small stable of motorcycles of various types. He is also an avid fisherman and photographer. His favorite memories from high school are the great encouragement we got from our teachers.
