Increases in international students were noted at all levels. However, increases in both academic and professional level master’s programs experienced the largest growth— due in large part to new professional master’s programs at the McCormick School of Engineering and increases in the numbers of international students receiving immigration sponsorship at the Kellogg School of Management. New international students enrolling for the first time at a U.S. institution in fall 2011 increased 6.5% over the previous year. (Source: 2012 IIE Open Doors Report)
