Secure Instant Messaging

A secure instant messaging system within a company. Free.
Some companies enforce internet policies whereby MSN instant messaging, Yahoo chat and other instant messaging programs are strictly prohibited. One of the reasons may be the management does want any company data to be leaked out via such applications. MailNow! 5 comes with a secure intranet chat feature where the staff can send messages instantly without risk of exposing company information.

Message Rules

Users can now decide what to do with both incoming and outgoing emails. For example, any emails from a certain client will automatically move to a designated folder. Or be deleted. The conditions are almost boundless. Also attachments such as exe, com and such can be filtered too to ensure intranet security.

Priority Migration

Importing emails from previous or other email server. Free.
A common concern of upgrading to MailNow! 5 as the main email server is the old emails that are still residing in the previous server. MailNow! 5 solve this issue with the Priority Migration feature. It cleverly imports the latest emails from the old server first so the users can quickly correspond to it. Then it work backwards, migrating emails all the way back to the oldest email. This is done in the background.

Message Tracking

To discreetly retain every incoming and outgoing email for supervisorial purposes. Free.
This is similar to forwarding an email but is done discreetly by the server. Its purpose is for higher levels managers to supervise on the email correspondence. It also serves as email archive. MailNow! 5 Email Tracking technology complies with Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA regulations.

Individual Transactional Logging

Keep track of email delivery status. Free.
One of the most common tasks faced by email server administrators today is finding out what happened to that incoming email that was supposed to have arrived, or that outgoing mail that was supposed to have been delivered. When this occurs, administrators often have to resort to digging around inside large log files. Log files normally are too cryptic and require administrators to sieve through intertwined lines. This feature eliminates this problem by assigning each email with a ticket (with its own log file) which can be retrieved easily via the web admin console in real time or via a search. What used to take minutes now only take seconds!

Distributed Intrinsic Scheduler

To manage email delivery from multiple domains to ensure smooth SMTP traffic. Free.
Sometimes a domain takes up the majority of the bandwidth to send emails at the expense of other domains. This in turn, resulted in delays of email delivery. Using Distributed Intrinsic Scheduler, MailNow! 5 solves this problem by employing a smart algorithm and a fair policy - so emails from each domain are treated in a different queue and serviced by doing a round inspection. This ensures that emails from all domains are treated equally, thus prevents delay in email delivery.

Hyper Policies

To enable policy enforcement for individuals, groups and / or domains independently. Free.
Hyper Policies is a feature in MailNow! 5 which allows the administrator to define advanced and complicated setting for the user in easy manner. The key to this feature is the concept of inheritance. In MailNow! 5 you can define settings at the system, domain, group policy or the user level. If a setting is defined in the system level, that particular setting will normally will be applied to all the users within the system due to the fact that the settings will be inherited by the domains and within the domains you might have group policies, and in a group policy you might have many users. So the settings in other words, propagate from the system level down to user settings. An example could be the Quota limits.
