INTERBIKE ATTENDANCE Stricter Qualification Process Garners More Qualified Audience With more stringent qualification and re-qualification processes, we reduced local and non-industry attendance formerly identified as retailer / distributor to ensure the highest quality audience of buyers and distributors during Interbike trade only days. As anticipated, the tough business climate faced by the US bicycle industry during the first half of the year, coupled with our tightened qualification processes resulted in a slight decrease in overall attendance; however, this was easily offset by an increase in overall store attendance and improved quality of attendees. While retail buyer attendance was down 7% from 2012, overall store count increased by 8%, or 350 additional stores.
