Directions: Measure out about 1 cup of chocolate chips. Add a knife tip sized amount of Crisco. Microwave chips and shortening until melted at 50% power at 30 second intervals, stirring between each. Watch it like a hawk, making sure it doesn’t burn. Pour melted chocolate into each spot in the tray about half way. Cut each straw in half and insert cut end into the center of each. Set in fridge to harden. Pop out of the mold by pushing up from the bottom of the tray. Add garnish and make a batch of cocoa. Serve and enjoy. I hope this warms you up this holiday season! xo
