THE PYRENEES Last summer I travelled to The Pyrenees. It is a very pretty place. There are forest and waterfalls even snow in the top of the mountains. The temperature was colder than in the rest of the country. In the Pyrenees I saw small villages and many animals. ‚Migas‛ and ‚Chiretas‛ are typical foods. I like them but they are very strange. I had very good holidays!

Our hobby is to sing. We like to sing since we were children and now we sing every Sunday in Las Angustias’ chorus. Apart from singing we like to write our own songs. We would like to learn with a professional singer to learn technical and to be better singers. In the future we would like to sing as professionals or to have a band. our hobby is tennis and we are going to explain how to play, who created it and who are the best players in tennis history. It is played with a racket with strings and a special ball for this sport. The creator was Walter Clopton Wingfield in 1873 and he called it Sphairistike (in greek "playing ball"). It was recognized as an official sport in 1926 and it is an Olympic sport since the Seoul Olympics Games. Some of the best tennis players in history are:

HOW TO COOK A GOOD PAELLA INGREDIENTS -Rice
(320 g)
-Chicken (700 g) -Rabbit (meat of rabbit,400 g) -White beans (60 g) -Natural tomato (5 tablespoons) -Green beans (380 g) -Oil (18 cl) -Red pepper (paprika) -Saffron (1 tablespoon) -Salt -Water STEP 1=Pour the oil in of the pan, and heat . STEP 2= Then put the chicken and the rabbit sliced. STEP 3=Add the vegetables sliced too and cook some minutes. STEP 4= Add the tomato and the paprika and
let it heat.
STEP 5=Pour water to the edge. STEP 6= Add salt and let cook for some minutes. STEP 7=P ut the rice into the pan. Cook for 20 minutes STEP 8= let it rest 5 or 6 minutes. You can also add fish and seashells, if you like.

HALLOWEEN
You know Halloween is an English festivity but in Spain we celebrate it too. People dress up too like the tradition. The 29th October we decorated the high school with witches , ghosts , vampires and a lot of scary things. We’re going to travel to Gerona on April so we made special food for Halloween like witches fingers,ghosts of merigue and bat eyes., we sold the food to earn some money for the travel. Some of our classmates dressed up with scary costumes. Here you got some photos of some of the things we did.

I want to talk about the book we are reading in the bilingual class 2nd. The book is called
La Leyenda Del

It is about a
woman asking for help to his good friend Alfredo. He goes quickly to Florencia where she lives ,and strange things happen. I recommend this book because it is full of mystery and curiosity.

Salvador Dalí was born in Figueres, Gerona on 11 of May in 1904 . He dedicated to drawing and painting since he was very young and , in 1922 , he began his studies in Madrid . Soon after he travelled to Paris where he got in touch with the surrealist group . He came to Spain , in 1929 , Dalí met Gala , with this Russian woman (Gala was ten years older than Dalí ). The painter shared all her life with her. He died in 1989 , seven years after Gala .
