Terms and Conditions
Orders All orders should be placed with our sales office at least the day before the scheduled delivery day in your area. Our minimum order value is £100 (exclusive of V.A.T.) which can be a mixture of frozen & provisions. Deliveries All goods must be checked and signed for by our customers or their agents at the time of the delivery. Any claims or shortages should be noted on the invoice/delivery note and acknowledged by our driver. In order to ensure the quality and safety of the products we are unable to accept the return of chilled foods unless notified of damage or defect at the time of delivery. Payments, Risk and Ownership Strictly cash on delivery unless credit facilities have been agreed, payment of accounts must be made by the 15th day from the statement date. All risks in the goods pass to the purchaser on the delivery. Ownership of goods delivered to our customers shall remain with us until payment of the invoiced cost has been received in full. In the event of an account being in arrears, we reserve the right to withhold further supplies. Product Durability Most food products with a life from manufacturer of twelve months or less must be dated either by a best before date or a sell by date statement. We as a company will make every effort to ensure that all delivered dated stock has an optimum remaining life when we receive our customers valued orders. However all customers should check the durability dates upon receipt of their orders. All Product Categories We reserve the right to change products, brands and pack sizes to an equivalent or improved standard as circumstances dictate. Product Category – Cheese & Cooked Meats Please check with our sales office as cheese or cooked meats may be priced by weight (i.e. per kilo) Placing of orders by our customers denotes acceptance of these terms and conditions. All items featured in this brochure are subject to availability, sizes and product information are quoted as approximate and for guidance only.
