t’s Breast Cancer Awareness month! The time for you and I to do something for the good of others, wear something pink, buy a pink ribbon, or even donate to the breast cancer clinical trials that take place in our very own St. Margaret’s Hospital in Epping. I ponder, what I can do to help those who suffer with cancer? I have put myself on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, walked The Great Wall of China and organised many charity balls to raise money for breast cancer and now I can feel a little twitch for some adventure with like-minded people, who like me, want to do ‘their bit’ to help provide the funds to improve the lives of others. On that thought, I contacted the charity, PAH NHS TRUST and an email with a host of events, treks, car boot sales and grand balls for the oncoming year landed in my inbox. I’ve joined the charity on FaceBook and Twitter and you can too. It is never to late to get involved. So, on to our glossy pages. Our main interview is with the ever handsome Ed Shaerf, the brains behind our amazing recipe on page 33. Fashion this month is bought to us by River Island, with wintry velvets and an array of embellishment keeping us on trend. Mr Ash Palmer himself has launched his ‘Dressing The Initiative Essex’ competition on page 12 and 29, which includes an amazing prize and an opportunity not to be missed! If you love the ballet be sure not to miss iN Magazine’s competition on page 22. With Winter well and truly on its way, seize the moment and give your home a quick paint in readiness for the oncoming cozy months. Make sure to read our Interiors feature, ‘A Different View’ on page 41, which is packed with ideas and colour tones, with compliments of Farrow & Ball. So until November...
