Introduced by Eric Schaefer The husband and wife team of doctors Phyllis and Eberhard Kronhausen were early advocates of sexual freedom who advanced their theories through art exhibitions, critical writing, and filmmaking. Part documentary, part exploitation film, Freedom to Love is a treatise on the social need for healthier attitudes toward sex. Covering a broad range of topics and historical factors, the film uses interviews along with reenactments and archival material to illustrate an enlightened view of sex and sexuality.
