This mix and match model enabled the quick roll out of apps to multiple platforms while the native model allowed rich user interaction for specific features that involved device hardware capabilities. The mobile initiative has made it easy for customers to buy or renew a policy, it has also ensured prompt customer service by making the claims process seamless. Claims personnel can use the mobile app to pull up their claim-case details, take pictures, tag them to various categories and complete the entire workflow on field, increasing their productivity by upto 30 to 40 percent.
