CONCLUSÃO
São várias as opções para o tratamento do rejuvenescimento facial, desde que se considere o exame minucioso da pele, o grau de flacidez muscular e o esqueleto ósseo-facial. Com relação ao grau de fotoenvelhecimento da pele, várias são as opções, que vão desde os Peelings superficiais até os mais profundos. Todavia, para melhor oferecer a seus pacientes, os que praticam o rejuvenescimento facial devem estar informados sobre as várias opções de tratamento, para que os métodos de Resurfacing preencham os desejos e resultados favoráveis, aos seus pacientes. A chave para a segurança e precisão no rejuvenescimento facial está ligada diretamente à seleção ideal dos pacientes e ao conhecimento dos efeitos histológicos, dos diversos tipos de tratamento. Com base nos dados apresentados no presente trabalho, que refletem esta experiência com a utilização do phenol para rejuvenescimento facial, pode-se dizer que é um método bastante seguro e que traz resultados favoráveis, quando bem indicado, tanto para o profissional quanto para os pacientes.
