Correct angle. The Electronic Positioning System has an LED that shows when the machine is held horizontally or vertically. Can also be pre-set for any desired angle.
Wet or dry. The DM 220 can be used for wet or dry drilling. The integrated dust control feature has the same connection for the water hose and the dust collection hose.
Integrated half-speed button. For easier starts at lower rpms. The ergonomic button has integrated SmartStart which you can use without changing your grip.
Sturdy connection. The DM 220 mounts easily on the stand, thanks to a sturdy connection. During freehand drilling, a plastic cover protects the connection from dirt and wear.
HUSQVARNA Diamond drill bits
Husqvarna’s extensive range of diamond drill bits really demonstrates its value with this drill system. For dry drilling we recommend the D 835; for wet drilling the D 1200 Diagrip™. These drills have thinner segments and tubes, which means faster cutting, even with smaller, handier drills like the DM 220. This also means that the drill bit requires less feed pressure, which is a big advantage when freehand drilling.
