Every day matters at Moor End Academy MOOR End Academy has the motto “Enjoy and Achieve: Every Day Matters” and this ethos is central to the continued drive for excellence. All students are supported and challenged to achieve their potential in a safe and stimulating educational environment. Students have access to an outstanding curriculum that recognises and develops individual talents and interests whilst broadening their horizons to new and exciting opportunities. At Moor End, staff understand that education does not stop when a student leaves the classroom. Working in collaboration with parents, the wider community and other educational partners, the school is able to offer a wide range of learning opportunities both in and
outside the academy. Alongside the continuing focus upon creative and constructive thinking, the school nurtures the development of self-awareness and confidence while at the same time promoting sensitivity, support, appreciation and respect of others. With the introduction of the Inspire ME award for 2013, the school aim’s to support every student to be the very best that they can be. Achievements are celebrated by rewarding excellent work, effort, behaviour and participation culminating in a major award ceremony.
