Almondbury High School and Language College Together we Achieve ALMONDBURY High School is a high quality learning environment which encourages and supports every student to aim high and achieve their best. A full range of academic and vocational learning opportunities is offered in small class sizes. Facilities in school are exceptional there is a sports centre, swimming pool and hairdressing salon on site. Recent refurbishments include the art rooms, library, computer suites and science labs.
Almondbury High School and Language College In 2013 Almondbury High School achieved its best ever GCSE results 5A*-C 84% 5A*-C including English & Maths 53% 85% of students achieved 2A*-C in Science English Baccalaureate 22.3% (national average 16%)
Results have improved from 46.8% (5 A*-C) in 2008 to 84% (5A*-C) in 2013, an increase of almost double. In 2013 12% of our students achieved 3 or more A*/A grades
Almondbury High School is already well established as a 'good' school and we are now working hard to be recognised as 'outstanding'. School is open for school tours every Tuesday morning.
